Thank you!
There's still a lot to do, but at least you will see some progress now..

Everything was already one of the best tools available
now its going to be the very best
I like most the content indexing and have already added it to my XYplorer scripts.

I'm so glad that you've started work on this again. This is the best tool I've ever used and saved me a ton of time trying to find stuff.
Thank you!!!
Thank you!!!

Thx. It's for personal use, don't think I need the server version.NotNull wrote: Sun Mar 28, 2021 9:27 pm You might be interested in the Everything Server, Kelly.
That started years ago!
I've been using the http server functionality, but turned it off due to security concerns (?)... Like, could users outside of my network gain access to the http server on my machine? Would be scary if they can search my file system and download files.
I have Norton firewall installed and everything, and my wi-fi is WPA2 protected with a strong password, but am still concerned if somehow someone was able to gain access. Any advice?

If you didn't configure port forwarding in your router to this system/port combination, your http server should not be reachable from "outside"

I got you mixed up with another Kelly on this forum, who wanted to run 2 ETP Servers.
Hence my "You might be interested in the Everything Server" remark.
My bad.
Nothing else to see here, please move on!
