Hello
I've got a PC with an older (1.3) version of Everything, and it returns result as I type
e.g., as soon as I type "U" in the search box, the folder Ubuntu appears among other search results.
In 1.4 tho, typing "U" yelds nothing, unless I use a wildcard, ie "U*"
Is there a way to have the former behaviour in 1.4?
Thanks
Search as you type partial matches?

Re: Search as you type partial matches?
Hello
thanks, but it is not "Search as you type".
I have it already enabled and working.
What I don't have is partial matches unless I use wildcards.
ie, I type U, only files named U do show up, not files STARTING with U

Look under Search on the menu. Be sure nothing is checked.

Re: Search as you type partial matches?
Thanks but Nope, tried as you suggested and still the behaviour remains the same:

While taking the screenshot tho, I noticed a capital WHOLE WORD in the lower left corner: to change the behaviour you have to hit CTRL+B or disable "Search Whole Word" from the Search menu (it is not in the Options)
