Is the built-in Windows indexing still needed?
This is a question that stems from my limited technical savvy about Win 10, so it's probably a daft one, but...

The Windows indexer is very usefull for content searches
which Everything can only do slow and very limited.
So let it enabled.

Just to clarify, Everything does not depend on Windows indexing. You can disable Windows indexing and Everything will still function.
