run as administrator, launch files as user
Everything runs as administrator on my computer (I couldn't get the indexing to work otherwise). Every program I launch from Everything also runs as administrator. Is it possible to add an option that overrides that behaviour. Users could then set a target user account in the options and Everything would launch every doubleclicked file using those user credentials.

Try:
1.Enable the service by ticking Everything Service in Tools>Options>general.
2.Close Everything. In the properties of the Everything main program disable "Run as admin" . Restart Everything. See if this works...

Suppose he means the desktop icon.
If you run the Everything service, there should not longer be a need to run Everything as Admin.
