Sorting folders and files together

Is it possible to sort the search results so folders and files are sorted together (I don't want the folders grouped together)? For example, I often need to find the newest files/folders (no matter if it's a file or a folder), but the folders are always listed at the top or bottom of the search results.

Unfortunately, It is currently not possible.

Everything sees Files and folders as two very different things.
