and here I am with a results list populated with documents. I add a couple of keywords or a path and the result List drops to just one or two screens of data.
From time to time, perhaps once a week, I recognize that I have already opened some of the files in the list.

Could an asterisk or similar symbol let me know that the file is opened?
Some applications tell me "you have already opened that file".

Being alerted that a found file is already open is sometimes a help.

This is a low-priority request.

Please try the Run Count column and the Date Run column.

Right click the result list column and click Add Columns....
Search for:

run

Select Run Count and Date Run
Click OK.

Run Count = How many times the item has been opened from Everything.
Date Run = The last time the item was opened from Everything.

You can also view items opened from Everything under Tools -> Run History.
