How to force re-scan Network Indexes only?

Post by szpunk »

I enable everthing server on my NAS PC, the NAS PC was not always online, so the client can not got the very new data from NAS.

Options---Indexes---Force rebuild can get the newest data but will rescan all my local drive too.

I just want rescan Network Indexes. Or would ET can auto re-scan Network Indexes when remote everthing indexes server online?

On the client, Everything will automatically update your network index once the server is online.

It may take 30 seconds to one minute for Everything to detect the server is back online.

If Everything is performing a full reindex when your server comes online, please try increasing the journal size on your server:
  • On the server, In Everything 1.5, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Index tab on the left.
  • Change Maximum size to 131072 KB.
  • Click OK.
