Why folders and files are always seperated in the result

I don't really care if folders are on the top or bottom, so how can I sort them together?
Like "folder1->file1->file2->folder2".

That has a technical reason. Everything 1.4 keeps files and folders separate internally, which would make sorting them together problematic (read: very slow ).

In the upcoming major version, Everything 1.5, files and folders can be mixed when sorting.
