serach by datecreated

Hi,

i tried to find a pdf by using this search string:
datecreated: 2021-12 type: pdf
(i tried it with day as well but both did not work. without the filetype addition i get some results but the pdf is not among them.)

i got no results but after i found the file manually i saw it was indeed created at that date. Searching for the name i do find the file and everything shows me for date created and modified the correct values.

What am i doing wrong?

dc:2021-12 ext:pdf

Use ext:pdf if you're looking for extension.
(Not sure offhand what type: is?)
And no spaces after the colon (:).
