Something like this?
Note:
Now this is an example where one would be happy,
if this proposal were to be implemented one day.
Since the version number is asked, this column was set up first:
Name: Version Number
Type: Metadata
Canonical Name: Version Number
However, no value was displayed for this column.
The column labelled "Version" provided the value.

Re: Need "Version" column
A version column is available in Evrything 1.5.
You can install the alpha version next to your regular Everything 1.4 installation for testing.
After installation of version 1.5:
- serach for ext:exe;dll
- right-click the column header of the resultlist, for example 'Name'
- Select Add Columns
- in the list of categories on the left, select Everything Properties > Programs
- Double-click Version in the right pane
- Scroll to the right to see the Version column in the result list
If you need this information often, you can also add it to Everything's database so that it will be found instantaneous (link)
