How to use exclude feature?

Hello, this is my first post. First to say, Everything is really a great piece of software and I enjoy using it. Currently using version 1.2.1.371 .

However, I found the exclude feature seems fail to work. For example, I don't want to see in search result any file within .svn folder, so I configure exclude as follows:

exclude-config.gif

After dismiss the config dialog with OK, Everything rescans the disk. However, after rescanning done, I can still see those files within .svn folder. Can someone give an answer?

Check The exclude filter rule failure for a solution.

This problem has been fixed for the next release of "Everything".
