There is a difference between dc-day: and dc-day:10
How do I use dc-day: without anything after the semicolon using a custom column ?
dc-day and other date and time derivatives with customn columns?

Looks like dc-day: is essentially nul (the same as if you didn't enter 'dc-day' at all).
dc-day:10 will find files/directories created on the 10th day of any month, any year.

How do I use it as column1:=dc-day: to retrieve each file and folder's day of the month ?

dc-day: is not a formula property.
Use DAY($date-created:) with formulas.
Use dc-day: with a normal search.
