I will add isnumber()

For now, please use
REGEXMATCH("^-?\d+(\.\d+)?$")

Everything 1.5.0.1416b adds the following formula functions:
  • ISERR
  • ISEVEN
  • ISODD
  • ISLOGICAL
  • ISNONTEXT
  • ISNUMBER
  • ISTEXT
