Icon in tray disappears

My problem is that when I close the Everything window, the icon disappears from the tray information area
even though I have set all the settings.

Does anyone have an idea what this could be?

Please ensure Tools -> Options -> UI -> Run in background is checked.

My problem is that when I close the Everything window

If the issue persists, how are you closing Everything?
File -> Exit will completely exit Everything.
