I'M using Everything now for quite a while (several years?), but today I have the follwoing issue:
Opening Everything shows me a list of 2 items multiple (zillion) times. The statusbar tells me that there are 1.9494.172 entries. (see screenshot)
But what ever I search there is no reults. Also attched seetings dialog for the drives.
I reinstalled Everything, deleted the database, but nothing changed.
Anybody any idea

Re: Strang issue, no serach results
On the NTFS tab, you could right-click the C: drive -> Reindex.
That would probably fix things?
Or you could wait for other thoughts.
If you do reindex, you might want to make a note of (a copy of) Tools | Debug -> Statistics - both before & after the reindex.
Other (general) thoughts here, viewtopic.php?p=30751#p30751 (though the remainder of the thread might not be necessarily relevant).

Re: Strang issue, no serach results
This is caused by a corrupt Everything database (filled with zeros)
Please exit Everything (File -> Exit)
In Windows Explorer, type in the following address and press ENTER:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Everything
Delete your Everything.db
Restart Everything.

this is exactly what I did, but it didnt solve the problem (nore reinstall of Everything).
Then I came across this post:

As I was using ver. 1.4.1, I decided to uninstall it and installed the 1.5 Alpha and this solved the problem.
Thanks a lot for this excellent product.
