filter bar "sticky" since upgrading

The filter bar behavior changed since upgrading to the alpha.

current behavior:
(filter bar has "Everything" selected)
- i click the filter bar
(drop-down menu appears)
- i press the V key on the keyboard for "Video"
("Video" is highlighted in the dropdown, and also replaces "Everything" in the clickable box)
- the cursor still being on the clickable box, I click it
(the dropdown disappears, the clickable box reverts to "Everything")

I'm sure this wasn't how it was before, i have muscle memory of it instead remaining on "Video". Is there a way to change it back? Besides that I am extremely grateful for an indispensable program.

I will look into reverting this change.

Everything 1.5.0.1391a will now activate the filter if it changes from a keypress and you click outside the dropdown list.
