Unwanted color/colours in the results list

Post by ChrisGreaves »

I did a quick search for the past three months, but found nothing of relevance.
A more extensive search turned up Coloring & Dupe Lines Not Working Correctly, always

My results screen fills with colours, and I would prefer it would not.
I have played with DUPE in the past couple of months.
I have inspected the lower right-hand side of the screen for lingering status symbols (such as DUPE and the like, but see nothing that triggers an alarm.
I re-installed Everything a couple of days ago to 1337a in case I'd clobbered something.
1337a was "clean" until this morning when the colours re-appeared.

The screen shot shows my regular mode of operation - my encrypted daTa drive T:, and MSWord documents and templates.

I have been playing with filters, but I appear NOT to have clobbered the filter "Everything":-

I have wandered, "lonely as a cloud" through the menus and see nothing check ON that triggers my attention.

I have nothing hanging on everything; I could uninstall and delete the Everything environment if necessary.
Thanks for any advice
Chris

If you didn't change anything, there would be no different results :)
There is never any need for uninstall / reinstall of Everything to fix problems
It's completely controlled by its ini-files and some csv files
Overwrite the exe with a more actual portable version if you still run an old one.
Restore ini- and csv files from backup versions, which you should have..
