Not scanning a folder

I want to exclude the Windows folder or another folder from scanning and from showing in the results
How can I do this?

To exclude your Windows folder from your Everything index:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Exclude tab on the left.
• Click Add Folder....
• Select your C:\Windows folder and click OK.
  (repeat for additional folders)
• Click OK.
