Search: Regular Expression became default

Weeks ago, somehow, Regular Expression started to appear ticked at startup.
Unable to find how to modify that, I have been manually unticking that daily...

How to revert to the "normal" Search?

Click the 'Regular Expressions' box, again.

Unticked (a number of times), but somehow it always return to ticked on next start...

Tools | Options | General -> Home

See if 'Regular expressions: is set to, Enabled (& if so, set to (Use Last Value) or Disabled -> Apply).
