It's NTFS, It's slow everytime I power it up due to index added properties like audio/video formats and track counts.
It only serves this PC with everything always running. If it disconnected then it's power off. So I think the full reindex is unnecessary.
Bypass USB HDD re-index added video properties if re-connect, if HDD only use for this PC?

Set Everything to manually add and remove NTFS volumes:
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the NTFS tab on the left.
- Uncheck Automatically include new fixed volumes.
- Uncheck Automatically include new removable volumes.
- Uncheck Automatically remove offline volumes.
- Click OK.
