Statusbar message when searching

Can you add some statusbar message that tells you if Everything is still scanning because most of the time when I use modifiers,functions and so on,the cpu usage is really low and I don't know if the scanning is done(nothing finded or everything is still scanning).

I am considering displaying the status "searching..." in the status bar after Everything takes longer than one second to search.
