My laptop does not show any search results from my external NTFS Card or USB drive
They are both listed in NTFS section of options, but I cannot see any files in search results. See attached screenshot.
It's probably a setting which is causing this, but I have been unsuccessful in locating the reason.
I am running latest portable version and have even deleted all support files in portable folder to start from scratch. I also have the service running. This is Win10.
Update: I added the volumes as folders and now they show up. Is this the expected behavior with some USB and Card volumes?

Please check if your R: drive is excluded under Tools -> Options -> Exclude.

Re: Everything not showing results from external NTFS volumes
Nothing excluded. It works when I add the drives as folders, so I will do that. If I figure out why this is happening, I will post an update. The laptop is part of a domain and managed by the organization... maybe that has something to do with it. I'll connect the drive to another computer and see if I can narrow the cause.
Thanks!

Debug logs might be useful:
Please check your R: drive for errors:

- Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
/reindex r: - Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
---wait for Everything to reindex. -it may take a few seconds. - From the Tools menu, under the Debug submenu, click Stop Debug Logging.
---this will open your Everything Debug Log.txt in Notepad. - What is shown in the debug log?
Please check your R: drive for errors:
- Please backup anything important on your drive before checking it for errors.
- In Windows Explorer, right click your drive and click Properties.
- Click the Tools tab.
- Click Check now...
- Click Start
- If prompted to schedule a scan on the next restart, click Yes.

Re: Everything not showing results from external NTFS volumes
I did find that the USB drive has an issue. It's more than 10 years old. It's a wonder that it is still working at all. I'm not sure why the card has the same issue. It is connected directly to a hardware port in my laptop that is less than 3 years old. But if it should be populating normally, then chances are it's not your sw that is suspect. I will post more details once I do more testing...
Thanks for your help!
