Everything 1.5 keeps on indexing forever !

Hi

I am not sure what happened or how it started, but now whenever I open Everything 1.5, it keeps on Indexing forever. It used to work fine earlier. It is stuck at 50%, for hours. I uninstalled and reinstalled but same issue. I observed that it is stuck at "Everywhere.search-ms" as indicated on the progress bar on bottom right. Screenshot is attached.

Please avoid indexing This PC as this will take a very long time:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Folders tab on the left.
• Select This PC and click Remove.
  ---
• Click the NTFS tab on the left.
• For each volume you wish to include in your index:
  • Check Include in database.
  ---
• Click the Folders tab on the left.
• For any remaining, non-NTFS volumes:
  • Click Add....
  • Select your volume and click OK.
• Click OK.
