Everything 1.4.1.1024 (x64) - Paste from path (SOLVED)

Dear dev,

Is there a way to enable paste from path on Everything?

I mean when I paste "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\MicrosoftCorporationII.WindowsSubsystemForAndroid_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\userdata.vhdx", I have results from Windows 11 start menu but no results on Everything.

Please try enabling Expand environment variables:

• In Everything 1.4, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Search tab on the left.
• Check Expand environment variables.
• Click OK.

Unfortunately, Expand environment variables don't fix the issue.

I already tried restarting my PC and Exclude hidden files/system files is disabled.

You have a "custom filter" Filteer enabled (see statusbar in your screenshot).

Try changing it to Everything to see if that makes a difference (menu:Search > Everything)

Please check if your custom filter is excluding this file/folder.

Please make sure this file is not excluded under Tools -> Options -> Exclude.

Please see if forcing a rebuild helps:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Indexes tab on the left.
• Click Force Rebuild.
• Click OK.

Does %LOCALAPPDATA% find any files/folders?
Does %LOCALAPPDATA%\packages find any files/folders?
Does %LOCALAPPDATA%\packages\microsoftcorporationii find any files/folders?
etc..

Seems like it was an issue with Exclude hidden files and folders
I don't know if Force Rebuild helped but it displays results with Everythingfilters
