Context menu in Everything

hi,

not sure if there is already a thread or post on this, I could not find it as yet.

I am looking for a way to either have my standard Windows context menu items in Everything-right click // or a choice-selection of it.

(by the way, a standard windows context menu does not seem to exist as different pieces of software, say different file managers, generate different context menus, but let's leave it at that)


In Everything I am looking here:

tools-options-general-context menu

I see a list of commands that seems to be hard coded, but I may be wrong. Can I add and/or remove here?

Are you "run as administrator"?

That can make a difference if you are.
Switch out of that & see if things are more normal.

restarted as admin, does not make a difference as yet.

Please see attachment what it looks like on my machines. I assume I am looking for something that isn't there. I'd like to be able to add an option, say, 'open with' this or that.

Oh, if you're meaning the items specifically listed there, then those are Everything specific.


I had thought that the context-menu, when you right-clicked a file, that most options (normally) afforded there were missing.

Everything uses the system context menu.

Everything can add a few built-in context menu items under Tools -> Options -> Context menu.

Full context menu customization is on my TODO list.

For now, please customize your system context menus.
