Sidebar font too small

Post by mwestout »

I am running 1.5.0.1329a (x64) on Windows 11 on a 27" QHD monitor. When I open the sidebar to view folders or filters the font is so small it is very difficult to read. Attached is a screenshot showing Everything with the sidebar opened.

Is there any way to increase the sidebar font size?

It looks like you have already adjusted the font size for the sidebars?

Please try adjusting your folder sidebar and filter sidebar font size:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Fonts and colors tab on the left.
  • Change Item to: Folders Sidebar
  • Increase the font size.
  • Change Item to: Filters Sidebar
  • Increase the font size.
  • Click OK.

Please consider adjusting your UI scale:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the UI tab on the left.
  • Adjust the Scale.
  • Click OK.

Please consider adjusting your default font size:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Fonts and colors tab on the left.
  • Change Item to: (Default)
  • Increase the font size.
(please note: each item can override this default font size)
  • Click OK.

Thank you so much. I changed the font and font size for both items, and it looks great now.

I had looked at the Fonts and Colors before but did not notice I could select different items.
