As per topic. Only have Auto, Bytes and kB (see sceen shot). Generally use the portable version but have tried the installer and no difference. Any idea why or how to fix this? Version used Version 1.4.1.935.

Re: Size column does not have MB
Setting the size format to MB is not available in the UI.
To set the size format to MB:
Setting the size format to MB from within the UI will be available in the next version of Everything.
To set the size format to MB:
- Copy and paste the following into your Everything search box:
/size_format=3 - Press ENTER in your Everything search box.
- If successful, size_format=3 is shown in the status bar for a few seconds.
Setting the size format to MB from within the UI will be available in the next version of Everything.

Re: Size column does not have MB
Thanks for the reply.
Couldn't get that suggestion to work but found a work around.
1) Installed (*) the alpha version
2) Selected the MB size
3) Reverted to the current version (**)
and the size column is now MB. All good.
(*) As I am using the portable version, I simply replaced the .EXE.
(**) Note that the alpha version created a copy of the setting and databases.

It sounds like (s)he did:
If you didn't copy over the settings file from 1.5 to 1.4, it was already working (minus a restart of Everything)

Re: Size column does not have MB
But In the actual Everything 1.5 version
/size_format=3
works perfect.

Re: Size column does not have MB
In 1.4 that works perfect too
Point was copying the 1.5 exe over the 1.4 exe and starting that, saves settings in Everything-1.5a.ini and doesn't change the actual Everything.ini that 1.4 uses.
(at least: that is what I think; not tested)
