Ok, I could exclude a certain folder from a search by adding a parameter !badfolder in search entry field.
But on the long run this is tedious.
Is there a way to exclude a certain folder (and its subdirs) automatically from ALL futures searches?
How to exclude a directory from ALL searches in future?

Either Menu>index>Enable Results Omissions or Tools>Options>Exclude

I use Exclude for files and folders that I know I want to exclude permanently, and I'm unlikely to want to change. Omissions is better for temporarily excluding, as it's far more flexible.

i do not understand/do not see 'Menu>index>Enable Results Omissions'.
i found 'Tools/Options/Indexes/Exclude' (which is what i wanted)
(i see it also has a Folder option that could presumably could be used as an Include (not sure if acts as a exclusive 'only' condition)
