If I use this Unicode character in a filename and search for Unicode characters - regex:[^\x00-\x7f]:
- after search the character it is displayed as a rectangle (when it is bold)
- when editing filename it is displayed correctly (when it's not bold)
ȋ
This is a bug or is it by design?
I mention that in File Explorer (Win 10 21H1 x64) it is displayed correctly (of course, it's not bold).

Re: Unicode character wrongly displayed in bold
I cannot reproduce on Windows 7, with the character "ȋ" (U+020B) https://www.compart.com/en/unicode/U+020B
The character appears correctly when it is not bold and when it is bold.
What version is your OS? Did you change your display font under Options > General > Fonts and Colors?

Re: Unicode character wrongly displayed in bold
Thanks for the bug report w64bit,
Everything doesn't appear to use a fallback font for Verdana.
This issue should be fixed in the next alpha update.

Re: Unicode character wrongly displayed in bold
Everything 1.5.0.1285a should now use fall back fonts correctly for some fonts (Verdana).
