The File Explorer popup that you can see from trying to add an attachment to your forum post has these two handy buttons for quickly changing view type and toggling the preview pane:
The regular file explorer window has two similar buttons in the lower right, but rather than the view mode slider and a preview pane toggle, its a toggle between two different view modes, Details and Large Thumbnails:
What I would like is for the lower-right status bar to have this functionality. For the view mode button, what I would really like to see is for left clicking the button to toggle between Details and Large Thumbnails (defaulting to Details if Everything is in a view mode that isn't Details or Large Thumbnails), while right clicking it would bring up the view mode slider box that the file explorer popup has (probably not able to be dark themed):
Btw you can set a shortcut to the desired thumbnails size and that shortcut will switch between details and thumbnails mode
And also Ctrl+mouse wheel changes the thumbnails size and when it is too small,it will switch to details view
