Hi,

Maybe this website will help you: https://www.voidtools.com/support/everything/etp/
(That's all I can contribute).

If I understand correctly, you don't need to use an ETP Server.
Instead, you can can add your O:-drive as a Folder Index:
  • In Everything, go to Menu:Tools > Options > General
  • Disable Run as administrator
  • Enable Everything Service
  • Right-click the Everything system-tray icon and choose Exit
  • Start Everything
  • Go to Menu:Tools > Options > Indexes > Folders
  • Click the Add button
  • Browse to your O:-drive
  • Click the OK button
  • Optional: change the update schedule to your liking (or accept the defaults)
  • Click the OK button
  • Done
Now Everything will scan your O:-drive and include the found files in the index.
When Everything has finished indexing, type
O:
in the search bar and check if your files are listed.

Note:
You can skip the restarting of Everything if Run as administrator and Everything Service are already configured correctly.

Hello again.

I am adding the drive O: as guided but after several hours i get the error below.
After the error, Everything crushes and even when the service is restarted the app is not responding.
If i restart the computer, it is operational again, but the drive needs to be indexed from the start.

I also attach the configuration for your info.

Thank you in advance.

Please update to the latest Everything version.
  • Completely exit Everything [right click the Everything system tray icon and click on "Exit"]
  • Open Task Manager and stop Everything Service -> CTRL+SHIFT+ESC, "Services" tab,
type ev, then click on the line with "Everything" underneath, right click, Service: stop
  • Download the latest version of Everything -> Everything-1.5.0.1270a.x64.zip
  • Extract the new Everything64.exe from the ZIP file and copy it over the existing file.
  • Start Everything Service in the Task Manager again -> Status "Running" required!
  • Start Everything and check whether the new version is being used. *)
*)    Option: Everything - Version No. in header
