Won't show preview in preview pane

I just purchased a new computer. Everything does an awesome job searching all my files on our servers. However, it WILL NOT show a preview of the file in the preview pane. Please help. I have tried everything I can think of!!!! Thanks in advance!!!

You might be missing the software on your new computer that is needed to show these previews.
3 Questions to zoom in on the issue:

1. When you copy a couple of these files to a folder on your C:-drive, do they show up in the preview pane?
2. Are the previews shown in the preview pane of File Explorer? (press ALT+P to toggle the preview pane on/off)
3. What type of files? (like docx, pdf, ...)

There is also no preview when copied .doc files to the C: drive

Everything can only preview files if a preview handler for the file type is installed.
Test if Explorer can preview your file.
If not, have a look with Regedit at the following location
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\PreviewHandlers

You have no preview handler installed for .doc files.
IT normaly comes with Office installations for example.
