One drive and google drive

Hi,

Only downloaded this today and its great .

It doesnt search my google drive g:drive?

Also for onedrive (new to this as well) everything it searches the onedrive folders on my c:drive is it possible to search all files in my one drive account....e.g the files/folders which are in my online onedrive account only and not syncing/linked to my pc.

To add your Google drive to your Everything index:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Folders tab.
• Click Add....
• Select your Google drive and click OK.
• Click OK.

If you are unable to select your Goolge drive, please make sure Everything is running as a standard user:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the General tab on the left.
• Check Store settings and data in %APPDATA%\Everything
• Uncheck Run as administrator.
• Check Everything Service. (Please make sure this is tick-checked and not square-checked)
• Click OK.
• Exit Everything (right click the Everything tray icon and click Exit).
• Restart Everything.

is it possible to search all files in my one drive account.

Currently not possible with Everything 1.4.

Indexing virtual folders is in development.

Thank you very much for prompt reply Ive got it working now.

Only quickly scanned the material but is there a way to save a filter that only searches files of type.....e.g. excel? Rather than sorting results on doc type?

Hi Gareth,

If the document type is determined by the extension this is certainly possible. Use ext:xls | ext:xlsx for Excel files, if needed add other extensions (for templates?). If you use this search often, consider to create a permanent filter.
