Hi, ive been very reliant on the "everything software" to search through my nearly 2TB of files and information to get alot of my daily work done. I need a bit of help and guidance to understand how exactly to re-enable the option that allows me to simply right-click in any one of my folders and the "Search Everything..." option would appear. I recently re-installed the software and the option that used to appear is now missing and i cant seem to find a way to fix it. I couldn't find any videos on how to fix this problem either, and i already tried searching through the FAQ section aswell. Please respond asap, thank you!
Edit : I am going to add attachments to further assists with understanding. (The photo shows the option I DO NOT HAVE)

Re: Right-Click Search Option Missing
That is a setting: Show Search Everything folder context menu item.
You can find it under Menu:Tools > Options > General
You can find it under Menu:Tools > Options > General

Re: Right-Click Search Option Missing
Yes, I have faced this problem too.
The folder context menu works only if I click ON a folder, not inside the empty space of a folder. It used to be like the picture you attached, but now its gone. Please add the feature back.

I guess you have some problems in your registry or a misbehaving context menu extension.Jaani wrote: Fri Dec 17, 2021 12:06 pm

This 2 entries are always shown by Windows Explorer for normal folders.

Please try temporarily disabling any folder context menu shell extensions with ShellExView.

@void
Thanks a lot! I disabled, my missed context menu items including "search everything" were back, I enabled and they are still available. Don't know what was my root problem.

After examining more, I noticed although my previous missed items are now back but some of my previous shown items are not available.

Re: Right-Click Search Option Missing
There was most likely a shell extension causing the trouble.
7zip menus can be re-enabled from 7zip -> Tools -> Options -> 7-Zip -> Integrate 7-Zip to shell context menu.

Re: Right-Click Search Option Missing
I encountered this problem and finally was able to resolve it. I was using Search Everything in Windows 10 but I am now running Windows 11. When you right click in a folder click on Show more options. Search Everything will now appear.
