I'm getting an empty list. Apparently my C:\Windows directory has not a single file, lol.
As you can see, I haven't excluded anything from the search.
FYI, I did the search from the Search/Advanced Search menu by typing "C:\Windows" into the "Located In:" box.

I guess you have enabled some filter.
Select the filter "Everything" should help

You have enabled your "Non-system stuff" filter (see Everything's statusbar in the bottom-right of your screenshot).
Change it to "Everything", as @horst.epp already suggested and your missing files will *magically* be shown again

Holy crap you guys. Duhr on me. I forgot all about filters. Yeah, hardly ever use them but must have a while back and forgot. It was set to "Non-system stuff". Thanks for waking me up.
