1) Better word selection:
For example:
size:123456
size:123,456
Double click to select "123456" or "123,456".
2) A command to empty the search edit.

That can be configured:
Under MEnu:Tools > Options > Keyboard is a setting View | Go To | Home , currently configure to Alt-Home, but you can add a keyboard shortcut to your liking.
Pressing Alt-Home will empty the search edit filed and bring the cursor to this.

Re: Search Edit requests
Oh I forgot that a bookmark could "forget" anything.
And Home can "use last value" as well.
Thank you for reminding me.
(But currently bookmark UI does not accept Esc key for the keyboard shortcut.)

Clever!
I assume you removed the ESC keyboard shortcut that is currently bound to "File | Close (Global)" ?

Re: Search Edit requests
@void ,
Will you consider 1) ?
Thank you.
3)
If Esc is a shortcut key,
and when the Filter dropdown is open,
Esc should close the dropdown first.
4)
I hope a shortcut key for a bookmark will also have the scope setting (Global / Search Edit / Result List).

Re: Search Edit requests
I'll consider making the double click word select smarter for numbers.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Done for the next major release. If Esc is a shortcut key,
and when the Filter dropdown is open,
Esc should close the dropdown first.
I'll look into making this an option. For now, the shortcut keys are always global.4)
