Support for the NTFS Alternate Data Streams feature

Alternate data streams are what you can change when you right click on a file in NTFS, go to properties, and click the summary tab. Would it be possible to add a search mechanism that is just as speedy for these streams? This would allow you to "tag" your files for easier sorting, among other things. Also, if that is possible it would also be useful to add a feature to quickly change/view/edit these properties without going through the right click menu. What do you think?

Unfortunately, indexing alternate data streams would severely reduce "Everything"'s indexing performance.

Also monitoring alternate data stream changes would take a large performance hit.

I am currently using Junction points to tag files.

Would it be possible to revisit this suggestion, even if it means generating a temporary on-demand index of altstream files?

There are very very few programs that enable user navigation and manipulation of ADS files. And you can hide some serious crap as a file or folder's alt data stream. One can even create an entire truecrypt volume attached to the root directory of an NTFS volume, and the drive still appears to be relatively empty.

Sure would be a shame to have to rename this program to Almost Everything.
