Is there a way to disable the ESC key?

Sometimes I prefer not to have the ESC key exit my search. Is there a setting that will let me assign a different key combination, or at least unattach the ESC key? Thanks.

To disable the ESC key:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Keyboard tab on the left.
• Select File | Close.
• Select Esc (Global).
• Click Remove.
• Click OK.
