I normally eject my USB with the USB safely remove programme. Eac time it fails to eject as I get a message that the USB is being accessed by everything.
I have to close Everything via the task manager and then I can eject the USB.
Not a major problem, just a bit of a pain each time.

Why via Task Manager?
Isn't a Ctrl+Q (File | Exit) enough (to close Everything normally & allow safely remove of your device)?
(It is odd, I would think, that Everything is holding your drive open. Wonder why?)
Are you using the Everything Service or are you running 'As Administrator'?
