Hi,
I have installed Everything 1.3 32bit on Windows 7 64 bit OS.
What I wonder is when I search for a file that is present under C:\Windows\SysWOW64 e.g. advpack.dll it does not reflect in Everything search results.
Under Tools-->Options 'Exclude System files and folders' is unchecked.
Still, Everything excludes files under C:\Windows\SysWOW64 & even C:\Windows\System32
Is there anything else I am required to set to fix this?
Thanks.
Everything search excludes C:\Windows\SysWOW64

Re: Everything search excludes C:\Windows\SysWOW64
Give Everything 1.4.1 Beta a shot.
advpack.dll is most likely a hardlink, & earlier versions of Everything would only enumerate 1 of the links of a linked file.

Yeah, you are right. I actually created a dummy file named say test1.dll at C:\Windows\SysWOW64 and tested Everything and it included properly in its search.
Thanks
