USB drive not un-registering

I'm still having a problem of when I eject a USB drive the files still appear in the listings. I have to go to options, folders, and remove the drive letter and re scan manually.

Do you have "AUTOMATICALLY REMOVE OFFLINE VOLUMES" checked (Enabled)? That setting is in the Tools > Options > Indexes > NTFS

Yes, I've always had that enabled...In fact, I also have to put the drive letters in the folder option as Everything doesn't pick up the USB drive automatically when the USB is enabled

Everything will only automatically add or remove NTFS USB drives (if enabled).

Your USB drive is most likely formatted with FAT.

What version of Everything are you using?

Please see if the Everything 1.4 beta helps if you haven't tried it already.

Ah, OK, yes, my USB are FAT formatted. I'm using the most up to date 1.4...Is there any way round this?
