new files not showing in Everything until shutdown and restart

new files not showing in Everything until shutdown and restart

For some reason recently added files are not showing up in Everything query results. They will show up if I shut down everything and restart. I'm running 1.4.0.713b (x64) on Windows 10 version 1607 build 14393.222. Until recently newly added files would show up instantaneously in my search results. I don't remember making any changes to my Everything settings. Any hints on how I might troubleshoot this?

Well I just removed a bunch of Removable drives from the list of indexed volumes in Options > Indexes > NTFS - then I added a new file and it showed up in query results without having to restart Everything. So maybe I have just fixed the problem. :D Thanks for your great great great program.
