can everything be used to get a url open in browser?
If not. perhaps am option to right click on a bookmark, and to open in browser.

If you click on a .url, .html, or other file-type that would normally open in your browser, then your browser should open.

Opening a .url file is probably the best option.
Just for reference you can have http:// links in file lists.
For example, create a voidtools.efu file with notepad:
This file list can be included in your index from Tools -> Options -> File lists.
searching for http:// would limit the results to urls.

Sorry for not responding to this one sooner. i was concentrating on the total commander thread.
I guess I was thinking more along the lines of adding urls to bookmarks. But They're not clickable, so doesn;t work.
