Thumbnails Views

Post by Stamimail »

Consider to enable Ctrl+Scrolling to change the views like in Windows Explorer.
I would like to see bigger thumbnails views, Like 4|3|2|1 images on page. It would be great, especially when you need to read letters in the image.

I'm not understanding?
Doesn't it do that already, Ctrl+Mousewheel ?

I checked it with a regular USB Mouse, and you right, it works.
It seems Everything doesn't support Syanptic TouchPad Scrolling.
By my TouchPad Scrolling I can Ctrl+Scrolling in Windows Explorer, but not in Everything.
I know about more 2 apps that don't work with my Syanptic TouchPad Scrolling (+7TT and HotkeyP).
Developers told me it is a driver problem or something.
Unfortunately I didn't find solution for this problem. :( Help would be appreciated

Anyway, what is below is not less important:

Syanptic TouchPad Scrolling manipulates Everything's scroll bars instead of sending mouse wheel events.

You might be able to change it with the following fix:
https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-X ... d-p/124378

Use the following command for the tp4table.dat:

Code: Select all

*,*,Everything.exe,*,*,*,WheelStd,0,9

Thank you for your help.
Unfortunately I do not have the tp4table.dat file, so I don't know what to edit.
I think I'm using a newer driver:
Synaptics Pointing Device driver
DriverVer = 04/22/2010, 15.0.18.0
Maybe looking at SynUnst.ini file (= synpd.inf file) might be help.
Do not waste too much time on it. I'm desperate. :(

Try disabling scroll cursor:
http://blog.alexou.net/scrolling-in-gtk ... ics-driver

This will disable scrolling (and use mousewheel) for all apps, which may not be what you want.

Thank you.
Yes, I want my TouchPad Scrolling to be like a regular mouse (mouse wheel events).
I'm very familiar with that article. Unfortunately it didn't help. I tried one more time now, and still didn't find the solution. :(

I've added to my TODO list:
Bookmarks and home search should save the current view (details / thumbnails) and preview window setting.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Fixed for the next beta update.
