Any file?
All files?
A particular file?
Are you running the Everything service?
Otherwise are you running Everything "as Administrator"?

Re: Can't find a file in the C drive
My C drive is NTFS
So when I do a search, if I type C:\ I only found three files and folders, as if there were only 3 in my C drive

however, if I type D:\ I normally get a list of files and folders in the disk D ie 16095

Re: Can't find a file in the C drive
Just like to add, I am facing exactly the same issue, tried deleting .ini file, reinstalling, etc. but everything can't find files on c:\ drive (except 2-3 folders, which I created on c:\ root)
I thoughts its some permissions issues but tried everything with Administrator rights and issue remains persistent.

Please try forcing a rebuild from Tools -> Options -> Indexes -> Force rebuild.
