Can I search a micro SD card

Post by Searchin' »

I have a large micro SD card is "everything" capable of searching that? I can't seem to get it to see the drive the card is plugged into.

To add the SD card to the Everything index as a folder index:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Folders tab.
  • Click Add....
  • Select the SD card drive and click OK.
  • Click OK.

Hello guys, am stacked here a little bit. For the case where you have your SD card formated with an Android phone (meaning it wouldn't work outside the phone it formated with), how do you get everything to scan your SD card when you plug your phone in a PC (win 8) via a USB cord? The SD card doesn't show up in the add folder section. Am using everything search 1.4

You are most likely viewing your SD card as a virtual folder in Windows.

Everything can not index virtual folders... yet..
Indexing virtual folders is on my TODO list.
