Please and thank you: am I correct in thinking that I can attach only images (PNG, JPG, etc.) but:-
not text files
not DOC files
not ZIP files
etc.?
Thanks, Chris
Limit to attachments
Re: Limit to attachments
When attaching image files, make sure they are web compressed to as small a filesize as possible to reduce forum bandwidth overhead.
You can attach zip files for everything else just fine, especially for text/log files and specimen file formats, etc.

The attachment size limit should be 128MB.
Please attach txt/doc as a compressed zip.
Re: Limit to attachments
Try attaching a specimen zip file that somebody else created. I'll create one and attach it here, you save it and try attaching it to your post.

Re: Limit to attachments
And 20230213_0516.zip contains two small documents.
Thank you, raccoon.
I feel embarrassed {as usual}.
I did not take notes of previous failures, because I was juggling other issues at the time.
If it happens again (rejection) I will keep notes and report back here.
Thanks,
Chris
(LATER) I went back and edited UserTutorial to use attachment rather than download links to my web site.
I suspect that my previous failures might have been because I abandoned the upload by switching the window to "Preview" before the upload (growing green line) was complete.
That might explain the lack of a rejection message!
