Indicatoricon in the systray when updating the searchindex.

Post by TomTam » Tue Mar 16, 2010 5:45 pm

Hi there,

Everything is a great program and I like it, but there is one thing annoying me:

Always if I conect an other usb-harddisk to my computer I can't see how long the searchwindow is out of order.

Would be nice if there could be a change in the systray-icont to know, how long have to wait, till Everything is ready to work.

Best regards.

True, but you can use the hot key to bring it up and type in your search argument. When the indexing is finished it will return the results.

It would be a good suggestion to turn the icon a different color to indicate "busy".

Added for the next release of "Everything":
Ignore new removable volumes by default.
Improved/Removed some of the UI locks, meaning you can still use the UI while "Everything" is busy.
