It would be nice if Property: sorts were maintained.

Add Length
Sort by Length

Perform a new search, say, "trains"

Back arrow

Prior search is now sorted by (something other then Length)

Please enable fast Length sort:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Property tab on the left.
• Check Fast Sort.
• Click OK.

Sorting by length will now be instant and persistent.

I was just looking for something that worked on a "lazy load" basis, current window only, such that back arrow remembered previous sort, even if was happened to be on a Property: (like Length).

What is expected behavior... ?

Say you sort on Length
(This is with a 'lazyload', not a Property length [indexed] sort)
Then do a 'Find Length Duplicates'
Then 'cancel' the DUPE

Should sort remain on Length?
(As is, it reverts to 'Name' sort.)

I'll look into keeping the old (length) sort.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Currently, Everything is forcing a requery when cancelling the find dupes.
This resets the sort to the last 'fast sort'.

Everything 1.5.0.1258a will now keep the sort order after clearing the DUPE status.
