(I had it on my list to inquire about just this...)
In my tests Everything 1.5 does detect when a hardlink file on a regular SSD NTFS drive is deleted.
In that regard, I'll just note that hardlink deletions were not detected on HDD on my end.

Depending on the length of your folder/bookmark names & the proximity to the edge of the screen, it is possible that they will (start to) open up backwards (to the left rather then to the right).

If I had to guess, it would be because the file has an open handle to it (cause it to not drop off of the list)... ?

Instead of "refreshing", simply adding (then removing) a space on the search bar should clean things up.

1.5 alpha can display various Length's (like audio, video, focal...).

You can either Index Lengths through Indexes -> Properties, or you can simply add the Length column & have it load that data as you bring it into focus.

If the intent is wfn: (?) that still doesn't do it. everything -instance 15 -s #filename:everything.exe finds: Everything.exe Everything.exe.10544.dmp hddb-1.4.4.x86 (everything).exe ... I'm thinking he's looking for wfn: (-wfn) [& most likely combined with -no-matchpath], but there is no such option?

How do you quote -regex

(merijen's been around for a while. All those tools are OLD, at this point. In the past I dabbled with many of them.

Select your files
Edit | Advanced -> Advanced Copy to Folder...

In the New Format: box, change the existing drive letter to your new wanted drive letter.

That should provide a mirror like copy to the new location.

(I'm looking at 1.5 alpha...) With Full Row Select, seems you can still select files, but not directories. (There might be a switch to allow directories, not sure? Do a search & see if anything turns up.) Have to ask, once you've selected, then what do you do? (I find the whole action very awkward.)

What version of Everything?

1.5 alpha has a "dark" theme.
